Preliminary scope of work
Provést podrobnou determinační a biometrickou analýzu kosterních pozůstatků drobných savců (Eulipotyphla, Chiroptera, Rodentia, Lagomorpha) z vybraných akumulací vývržků sovy pálené z území Libanonu, Turecka, Kypru a Řecka, zhodnotit cenologická a strukturní specifika poměrů v jednotlivých oblastech. S ohledem na očekávané vnitroareálové trendy fenotypové proměnlivosti (klinální změny, ostrovní efekt apod.) zhodnotit zjištěné biometrické charakteristiky několika široce rozšířených taxonů (Crocidura, Mus, Rattus).
Preliminary scope of work in English
Based on a detailed analysis of bone remains of small mammals (Eulipotyphla, Chiroptera, Rodentia, Lagomorpha) in accumulations of barn own pellets from the Eastern Mediterranean (Lebanon, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece) evaluate the cenologic and structural paterns characteritics of the particular regions. In selected species, the local patterns of phenotypic variation are to be investigated and apply for testing expected biogeographic trends (cline variation, island effects etc.).
