Preliminary scope of work

Hlavním cílem této práce je zhodnotit možnosti využití mobilního GIS v mapování krajiny. Součástí je také technický popis přístrojů pro terénní mapování (Juno SC a GeoExplorer 2008 GeoXH) a softwarů určených pro sběr, editaci a aktualizaci dat v terénu (ArcPad a TerraSync). V rámci této práce byl proveden terénní výzkum aktuálního stavu využití krajiny. Na konkrétních příkladech zaměřovaných krajinných objektů je posouzena polohová přesnost a dostupnost signálu GPS.

Preliminary scope of work in English

The purpose of this project is to evaluate the possibility of using mobile GIS in mapping land use. Also included is a technical description of the equipment for field mapping (Juno SC and GeoExplorer 2008 GeoXH) and software for collection, editing and updating data in the field (ArcPad and TerraSync). The field research of the current state of land use was carried out as a part of this work. The positional accuracy and availability of the GPS signal were compared with concrete examples of mapped landscape objects.
