Prof. Malek really took the time to make sure everyone was understanding and it was very refreshing. He also was transparent when he was struggling and very persistent, if there was an error or issue he would address it with humility and curiosity. He is a great role model.

Functional Analysis is an incredible subject and I think this course was a great introduction to it. Usually, this course is known to be very high-level and challenging but it was taught in a very clear and simple way.
