Oceňuji hlavně přesnost, se kterou pan Kynčl hodnotí jak domácí úlohy psané, tak i úlohy prezentované ústně. Na jednu stranu je náročné nevytrousit někde malou chybičku, ale tato zpětná vazba se velmi hodí. Určité lepší, než kdyby chyby přehlížel a člověk žil ve sladké iluzi, že to vše dokonale chápe a umí.

Professor Irena created amazing lecture notes, easy to understand and follow and very complete. Also she is very enthusiastic in her teaching and she always makes sure we are following her otherwise she patiently explains that part back. I must say I am lucky she was our professor for Algebra I and II this year. I recommend taking her classes 100%.

Miss Penev provides excellent and very clear lecture notes, which are extremely helpful for understanding the material. Her tutorial sessions were especially important for exam preparatio, so much so that many students prioritized attending tutorials over lectures.
However, one issue throughout the semester was the delayed return of graded homework. This made it difficult to track our progress and properly prepare for the first exam, as the final homework was only returned after the exam had already taken place. A similar delay occurred with the tutorial credit test, although that assessment was more manageable than the exam.
The course content focused heavily on proofs rather than computations, which made it feel more challenging than expected. Overall, while the material itself is conceptually simple, organizational challenges made the course more difficult to pass than it needed to be.

Dr. Penev is a great teacher, who cares about her subject and students. I sincerely admire all the works she has done to write the lecture notes. They are well-organized, coherent, easy to follow and with a lot of examples to ease the understanding of the material.
The lectures themselves were in some sort of a rush from time to time, but the slides and written on the blackboard important points helped not to lose the flow of the material.
I really liked the lectures and especially lecture notes. They are really incredible and easy to understand.

An alternate approach with presentations was taken by the professor this semester, however, for them it seems much more natural to use more time and explain things and run proofs on the whiteboard.

Teoria mnozin mala cvika akurat ked som mal telesnu... nevadilo to lebo bolo treba spraviť kazdy tyzden nejake ulohy ktore URCITE chcete robit vsetky od zaciatku a co najlepsie ako to ide. Nie je to nerealisticky tazke ale na to ze to su len 3kredity tak to je brutal. Stihol som to prv nez sme zacali robit axiom vyberu, ale vkuse som mal tak polku bodov za ulohu a mal som na to trochu nervy tbh.
Zapísal som si cvika aj skusku, tym co mali skusku tak poslal nahravky a kedze sa dalo odhlasit 3 tyzdne tak som nevahal ani chvilu. Na obecnej informatike je celkom dobre urobit kryptografiu a temno zapocet a potom staci len 5normalnych predmetov z tej prvej kategorie. Neslo mi uplne o to naucit sa to az tak dobre ale skorej mat prehlad, verim ze doplnok doplnku A je naozaj A, nepotrebujem si pisat dokaz na stranu.
Ak ma niekto ptsd z logiky tak je to no go, je to ale velmi specificky predmet a asi som bol jediny ktory mal nanho takyto materialisticky pohlad ale potreboval som trochu DCA kredity aj mimo skuskoveho a zas tak velmi si neuzivam taketo aktivity, je to OK ale v zdravej miere...

Reseni priklady mi zejmena na zacatku pomohlo lepe pochopit probiranou latku, na kterou mi chvili trvalo si zvyknout.

Líbí se mi, že není těžké získat zápočet. Je tedy validní jak chodit na cvičení celý rok a vždy získat jen pár bodů, tak snažit se intenzivně na pár cvičeních a mít pak jistý zápočet. Druhou strategii jsem využil já a myslím, že jsem díky ní velice dobře zvládl základy Temna. Taky se mi líbí, že není problém cvičení splnit bez toho, aby člověk musel odevzdávat nějaké úkoly -- všechny body lze nabrat během hodiny.
