Navržená magisterská diplomová práce má za cíl (1) shromáždit co největší datový aparát o velikostech mateřských kolonií 7 druhů evropských netopýrů (Myotis myotis, Myotis blythi, Myotis emarginatus, Rhinolophus hipposideros, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Rhinolophus euryale, Miniopterus schreibersii) z co nejširší oblasti pokrývající celý severojižní gradient evropského areálu dotyčných taxonů, (2) provést analýzu variability velikosti kolonií ve vztahu k zeměpisné šířce a k typu úkrytu v souvislosti se synantropními tendencemi v severních částech areálů. Data budou shromážďována na základě literární rešerše a komunikace s koordinátory monitoringu netopýrů v jednotlivých evropských zemích.

The aim of the proposed master thesis is (1) to gather data on the size of maternity colonies of seven European bat species (Myotis myotis, Myotis blythi, Myotis emarginatus, Rhinolophus hipposideros, Rhinolophus ferrumequinum, Rhinolophus euryale, Miniopterus schreibersii) from the areas covering whole latitudinal gradient of the European range in all respective species, and (2) analyze its variation with latitude and in relation to changes of roost use with respect to synantrhropy in northern areas. Data will be gathered using published faunistic records as well as by communication with coordinators of bat monitoring programs in respective countries.
