Cílem práce je geneticky charakterizovat jedince kriticky ohrožených gekonů rodu Goniurosaurus v chovech PřF UK pomocí molekulárních a cytogenetických metod a přispět tak k vyvinutí jejich ex situ ochrany.

The aim of the work is to genetically characterize individuals of critically endangered geckos of the genus Goniurosaurus in the breeding facilities of the Faculty of Science, Charles University using molecular and cytogenetic methods and thus contribute to the development of their ex situ conservation.
