Předběžná náplň práce

Bakalářská práce je historickou studií a analýzou, která se zabývá tvorbou bezpečnostní
komunity ve středovýchodní Evropě v kontextu války v Perském zálivu. Cílem je analyzovat
skrze historické události, jaký měla válka v Zálivu vliv na tvorbu bezpečnostní komunity. Pro
podrobnou analýzu je součástí práce i teoretická část, která vytváří podklad pro samotné
zkoumání tvorby bezpečnostní komunity ve středovýchodní Evropě po rozpadu východního
bloku. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že válka v Zálivu se stala jakýmsi katalyzátorem pro
budování nových vztahů se státy západního světa a novými demokraciemi Polska, Maďarska a
Československa. Dalším výsledkem je zhodnocení spolupráce ve Visegrádské skupině, která
napomohla procesu sbližování se západními strukturami, jako je Severoatlantická aliance nebo
Evropská Unie.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

The bachelor thesis is a historical study and analysis that examines the formation of the security
community in Central Eastern Europe in the context of the Gulf War. The aim is to analyse
through historical events what impact the Gulf War had on the formation of a regional security
community. For a detailed analysis, the theoretical part of the thesis is included, which forms
the basis for the actual examination of the formation process of the security community in
Central Eastern Europe after the collapse of the Eastern bloc. As a result, the thesis finds that
the Gulf War became a kind of catalyst for building new relations with the states of the Western
world and the new democracies of Poland, Hungary, and Czechoslovakia. Another result is the
appreciation of cooperation in the Visegrad Group, which has helped the process of
rapprochement with Western structures such as the North Atlantic Alliance and the European
Union.
