Předběžná náplň práce

Genderová politika je jednou z oblastí, k nimž se v Srbsku obrátila pozornost až ve 21. století. Ačkoliv se první opatření týkající se genderové rovnosti zaváděly již na jeho počátku, komplexnější změny s sebou přinesla jednání o vstupu do EU. Snaha stát se členským státem EU v Srbsku kolísá a aktuálně není jednou z priorit vlády, přesto samotný proces přiblížení se členství Srbsko změnil. Vznikly nové vládní instituce zaměřené čistě na nové evropské agendy a jejich zdárnou implementaci do srbského práva. Jednou z nich je i genderová rovnost. EU prosazovala velké pokroky Srbska mimo jiné i v této oblasti, aby předešla opakování situace z předchozích vln rozšiřování, zejména v letech 2004 a 2007, kdy nebyla spokojena s přístupem nových členských států k rovnosti žen a mužů. Srbsko navíc bylo monitorováno i jinými mezinárodními organizacemi. V návaznosti na přístup těchto aktérů je potřeba do celkového kontextu zahrnout nevládní organizace (dále NGOs), které jsou považovány za jedním z nástrojů ukotvení genderové rovnosti ve společnosti. Více než dříve měla být během přístupových jednání se Srbskem využívána jejich expertíza a dlouhodobá práce na poli genderové rovnosti.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

Gender policy is one of the fields which became relevant in Serbia in the 21st century. In spite of the fact that the first gender laws were introduced in the very start of the 21st century, a more complex change only occurred after Serbia began its accession negotiations. The efforts made by Serbia in order to become a EU member are fluctuating, the process itself made an impact on Serbia. New institutions have been created in order to focus only on the agenda of the accession. One of these agendas is gender equality. EU was pushing Western Balkans countries to take efficient steps in order to avoid the consequences of the superficial reforms done by the CEE countries which became EU members in 2004 and 2007 respectively. Serbia has also been monitored by other international organizations including USAID. In this context, it is necessary to include NGOs into the analysis and create a complex picture of the progress of gender policy in Serbia.
