Předběžná náplň práce

Práce se zabývá interpretacemi fenoménu Ostalgie ve vybraných textech odborného diskurzu na příkladu filmu Good Bye, Lenin!. Cílem práce je zmapovat a definovat převládající tendence v těchto interpretacích analýzou šesti odborných článků, které jsou vybrány pro korpus práce na základě splnění požadavků stanovených autorem. Z analýzy korpusu práce vyplývá, že převládajícími tendencemi v interpretaci Ostalgie jsou: nahlížení na fenomén Ostalgie v rámci postkoloniálních studií a studií materiální kultury, vyvracení základních bodů kritiky fenoménu Ostalgie ve veřejném diskurzu, chápání fenoménu Ostalgie jakožto obranného mechanismu proti kolonizaci dějin NDR dominantním západním historickým narativem, pozitivní přínos Ostalgie jakožto produktivního kontrastu současného režimu i společnosti a sjednocující potenciál Ostalgie v německé společnosti.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

This thesis engages with the interpretations of the Ostalgia phenomenon in selected articles of the academic discourse on the example of Good Bye, Lenin!. The goal of this thesis is to map and define the prevailing tendencies in these interpretations using the analysis of six articles selected by the author. It stems from the analysis of these articles, that the prevailing tendencies are: understanding of the Ostalgia phenomenon in the framework of postcolonial studies and studies of material culture, the disproval of the main points of critique that is appearing in the public sphere, seeing Ostalgia as a coping mechanism with the colonization of the GDR past by the dominant western historical narrative, positive asset of Ostalgia as a productive contrast to the existing regime and society and the uniting potential of Ostalgia in German society.
