Předběžná náplň práce

Práce se bude zabývat kvalitou měření v rámci výběrových šetření. Konkrétně se zaměří na vysvětlení této problematiky se zaměřením na metody a techniky dosahování požadované kvality měření a následně dat. Toto téma bude řešeno ve spojitosti s měřením postojů (jedinců k imigraci a imigrantům). Vzhledem k (mezinárodní) povaze šetření, která zkoumají toto téma je jako významný bod práce, který souvisí s kvalitou šetření a dat, problematika ekvivalence čili srovnatelnosti. Ta bude také testována u měřícího nástroje European Social Survey.

Předběžná náplň práce v anglickém jazyce

This thesis will deal with the quality of measurement when doing surveys. Specifically, it will focus on explaining this issue with a focus on methods and techniques of achieving the required measurement quality and subsequently data quality. This topic will be addressed in connection with the measurement of attitudes (towards immigrantion and immigrants themselves). Given the (international) nature of surveys that examine this topic, the issue of equivalence, or comparability, is an important point of the work related to the data quality. Measurement equivalence of an instrument developed within European Social Survey will be tested in this thesis as well.
