concerning the exam: please beware of the smart watches many students use since they can be easily used to cheat (some more drastic measures or just forbid them at all are worth a thought (for the written AND oral part) - it is a little unfair for students who want to do the exam on a honest basis). Also we noticed that the written part of the exams got harder, the more time progressed (at least that is how the majority of students perceived it). As much as I understand that examining hundrets of students a week is a lot, it's not fair for students that struggle with biochemistry and therefore need more time to prepare. So maybe think about having equal exam difficulties for all students, no matter the date.
it would have been nice if all the pages with the chemical cycles wouldn´t be handwritten and maybe write all the cycles and pathways on a proper powerpoint
too big classroom, it was unclear to what extend the knowledge was expected from the students on the exam, an exam protocol would be helpful for a student to understand exam results better
